I created this video as a digital journal that looks back on my international experience in Nepal. This trip has become an important part of my life as it has widened my perspective about how culture is incorporated into patient care and new skills that I was able to learn and consolidate. I chose to create a video because I thought it would be the best way to share my experiences and inspire people to see and learn more about the world around us. The main ideas stated in the video reflect on my observations and what I learned in this field school. It was important for me to be able to share my experience, as it could be relatable for others or inspire them in some way. Through this give back project I learned how we are all interconnected in some way and having the ability to share my experiences from my home country can offer up discussions of how we can all learn from one another. In this case, what I learned contributes to how I can be a better nurse and techniques that I can incorporate into my practice.
