Hello everyone! My name is Dynna Lapac and welcome to my ePortfolio for GLBL 1000: Global Competency. I am heading into my fourth and final year of the nursing program at Thompson Rivers University. I first heard about the Global Competency certificate in an information session about the Nepal field school that TRU’s nursing program offers in year 3. I was fortunate enough to be part of the Nepal field school this year and after quite a bit of travelling this year, I thought it would be the perfect time to get this complete 🙂
Fun facts about myself: I love to bake and try new recipes, I definitely have a sweet tooth! My favourite recipe that I like to make for people would be a classic chocolate chip cookie. I also love to travel and I’ve lucky enough to visit quite a few countries and definitely have a lot more on my bucket list that I would love to eventually visit.
P.S. I was finally able to fulfill my lifelong dream of seeing a koala up close when I travelled to Australia this year!
